Grounded Care for Individual Healing

An embodied and culturally responsive space for healing

Individual psychotherapy at Kayari is an embodied and culturally responsive space for healing. We work with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and race-based trauma, honoring the ways personal suffering is shaped by history, identity, and lived experience.

We move beyond traditional talk therapy by integrating Somatic Experiencing® and Brainspotting, trauma-informed approaches that support the nervous system in processing deep emotional wounds and releasing stored physical tension.

Therapy unfolds at a pace guided by safety, presence, and respect for your inner wisdom.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we attend to the body’s responses, emotional patterns, and relational history—supporting regulation, resilience, and lasting change.

Who this is for

This service is especially supportive for:

  • Individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, or trauma

  • Immigrants and people navigating migration, identity, and belonging

  • Students and activists facing burnout or chronic stress

  • Members of the BIPOC and Queer & Trans-Latinx communities seeking affirming care

This is a space where you do not need to explain or justify who you are. Your body, story, and nervous system are welcomed as they are.

Culturally Responsive Care

Kayari offers psychotherapy that is culturally responsive, bilingual (English–Spanish), and affirming. We honor intersecting identities, systemic realities, and lived experiences—creating a therapeutic relationship rooted in dignity, safety, and mutual respect.

A Grounded Path to Healing

Individual therapy at Kayari supports you in reconnecting with your body, your boundaries, and your inner stability—so healing becomes not just possible, but sustainable.
